    what is your favourite wwe game's soundtrack? in my case its a pretty hard choice i like em all but my personal favourite has to be svr 10 just because of the nostalgia it was my first wwe game i played it back in 2017 on an emulator (weird i know) and it actually made me interseted in wrestling

    WWE Universe Mode: Rivalry System Overhaul [Idea]

    In another thread, a user commented that the rivalry system ruined Universe Mode. While I do agree, it's not due to the concept of the rivalry system, rather it is the poor execution on 2K's part.

    The rivalry system should be a tool used to provide a more organized and dynamic Universe mode. As of 2K20, it lacks organization and any sort of dynamic feel. To me, every rivalry feels the same, regardless of the superstars involved, and many rivalries tend to end randomly regardless of the rivalry length. To fix this, 2K should implement two things: a set end date for rivalries instead of duration, and a feature already present in the games: Personality Traits

    We'll start with end dates. These were present in GM mode over ten years ago. Say you're in July, setting up a new rivalry spanning across two PPVs that you want to culminate at Summerslam. Instead of choosing a medium length rivalry, you choose the end date as "August PPV" so that the final match of the rivalry takes place there, instead of the second weekly show of the month. Simple fix, but goes a long way.

    Onto traits. Superstar personality traits should affect the type of rivalry we see between two superstars. A rivalry between two face superstars with Prideful, Respectful, Bold and/or Disciplined dominant traits should be hard fought and more competition based. A rivalry between an aggressive and desperate heel and a perseverant and bold face should revolve around the face trying to overcome heelish tactics to win the rivalry. Here are a few examples below, using 2K20's default traits and Cheer/Boo settings

    Roman Reigns vs Johnny Gargano: both superstars align towards the face side of the traits. Roman is Prideful, Perseverant, and Bold dominant. Gargano shares the same dominant traits. Both superstars share an Aggressive passive trait, while Roman is slightly Disrespectful and Gargano is RespectfulBy their alignments, their rivalry should be intense, very intense, with Roman playing a slightly heelish part, yet maintaining a face vs face dynamic. Hard fought, and intense.

    Seth Rollins vs Samoa Joe: Rollins is Prideful, Loyal, and Bold dominant, while Joe is very Aggressive and Bold dominant. This rivalry should be a clean cut "Good guy face" vs "asshole heel" rivalry, with Joe trying to beat the holy hell out of Rollins to weaken him before their big PPV match. Nearly every week should be Joe or Rollins interfering in each other's matches or attacking them after matches. This one should revolve more around promos and heel actions, and should feel more story based than competition based.

    Another note, superstars with Treacherous traits, such as Randy Orton, should be more susceptible to automatic heel changes if the option is on. A face vs face rivalry between Orton and Reigns could change to a heel vs face rivalry within weeks of the rivalry starting.

    With a decent overhaul like this, 2K can better utilize more cutscenes already in the game and a traits system that I personally feel has gone wasted so far to breathe more life into a mode that, at the moment, requires a lot of user activity to work as intended.

    Does personality trait in Universe affect how cutscenes play out?

    I tried to turn Rusev in my universe face by feuding with Nakamura for the US Title and Nakamura ended up turning face. Is there a way I can manipulate this by tweaking personality traits?

    After wasting $35 on 2K20, I've come to appreciate 2k19 for what it was worth. I loved the caws and how realistic they could get, as well as the customization options and the ability to book dream matches and let them play out.

    What did you believe made 2k19 a good game ?

    Stage pyro

    I am working on a fairly large video project and I need a shot of the stage having pyro. I remembered it would come if I start universe with it but nope didn't happen. Any suggestions or do I try figuring out something with entrance pyro?

    Edit: never mind what I wrote. This comment and the my reply to it clears it up.

    —————————————————————— Last update came out on 19th December I believe, it was on a Thursday and 30 minutes from now.

    The DLC Came out the day after I think. Also, the themed Roman tower came out another day after it.

    So, since that's the case, a themed tower would probably be there for Valentines Day so that would be next week's Friday, do you think the update will come out later on today with the DLC tomorrow?

    FYI: I'm basing the dates and times that I wrote above off of WWEGames' twitter and when they addressed that the update and DLC as "out now".
